AODA Social Worker • Full-Time: Winnebago County, WI

Responsible for counseling and case management of substance abuse clients referred to the program at The Drug Abuse Correctional Center (DACC). Duties will include: providing direct social services in the areas of AODA treatment programming, overall goals, and social functioning; case management of treatment plans and security needs; counseling; file maintenance; writing reports and completing necessary paperwork; and coordination with other staff through the entire process. AODA programming must be delivered in a secular manner, free of religious components and must follow the agency prescribed curriculum and credentials must be maintained.

Minimum Qualifications:
  1. 1 year experience work with correctional clients from diverse backgrounds.

Behavioral Assistants • Full-Time: Waupaca County, WI

The person in this position will provide direct supervision and behavioral guidance to intellectually disabled clients who have a history of sexually violent behavior, which includes transportation, escort, and assistance with daily living skills to the IDCHOP client. Each IDCHOP client will be assigned a Behavioral Assistant that will provide one on one, line-of-sight supervision at all times. Behavioral Assistants will rotate in pairs through 8 hour shifts to provide 24/7/365 assistance and supervision to IDCHOP clients. Duties include: monitoring client attitude, appearance, and behavior; completing paperwork and reports, documenting and reporting violations, maintaining communication with staff and supervisors, handling emergencies in a timely and appropriate manner, transporting client to approved locations/activities with own vehicle, providing informal guidance to clients on daily activities and independent living, and physically restrain client if required in emergency situations. There will be at least two trained staff on site at any time; the ability to work in an appropriately positive and supportive way with both client and staff is vital. The person in this position is required to have internet access to email and the use of an agency cell phone at all time when performing IDCHOP services.
